Important Information About Our COVID-19 Policy

June 6th, 2022OrthoHC

To our patients:

We know that this is a stressful time for everyone during the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. Our hearts are with all of the families affected around the globe. As you are aware, it is also a constantly evolving situation.

As we continue to navigate this difficult time, The Orthopedic Health Center remains committed to providing world-class orthopedic care to our patients. Your care – and your safety – are most important to us.

Telehealth medicine is now available for the safety of our new and existing patients.

We want to ensure you can still get the help you need or remain on track with your healing, even if you cannot come into our office right now. Our doctors will be available to see both new and established patients via this method. Visits will be conducted via telephone and/or video option by a member of our medical team. Contact us for your virtual visit.

Please note that we are currently still open for those requiring in-office visits at this time, as well.

We know that some patients still require in-person care at this time because their orthopedic pain is urgent, and we do not want to add to the influx of patients in hospitals. By remaining open, we will help take the burden off the inundated hospitals at this time.

We are here for our patients who are suffering with urgent orthopedic pain right now and need help, both in person and virtually.

Beyond that, we also want to assure you that we are doing everything we can to keep our environment safe and healthy. Our office is taking every precaution possible in the face of this virus and complying with local, state, and federal standards and recommendations: including cleaning and wipe-downs of exam rooms between every patient, frequent cleaning of all waiting rooms, front desk and common areas, using gloves and masks, requiring patients and staff stay 6’+ away when in-office, and more.

If you are coming to our office we ask that you, PLEASE reschedule your appointment for more than 2 weeks if you:

  • Are experiencing any flu-like symptoms
  • Have recently traveled on an airplane
  • Have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19

Additionally, we recommend you follow the guidelines provided by the NJ Department of Health:

  • Wash hands often with soap and water. If not available, use hand sanitizer.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid contact with people who are sick.
  • Stay home while you are sick and avoid contact with others.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or sleeve when coughing or sneezing

Please know that we will continue to keep an eye on the situation and follow guidelines to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. Please feel free to call us at (201) 596-3730 should you have any questions. We are here for you.

As always, we are grateful for your cooperation and understanding as we navigate this difficult situation. The health and safety of our patients and staff are always our top priority. We are in this together.

You no longer have to live with pain.
